M12 BUMAX\u00ae 88 stainless steel screws have been used in high-pressure versions of Endress+Hauser Deltabar differential pressure transmitter since 2013. The smart transmitter measures differential pressure in gases or liquids in static pressures up to 420 bar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBUMAX screws provide our Deltabar generation of pressure devices with the robustness they require to cope with extremely high-pressure environments,\u201d says Dirk Dohse, Product Manager at Endress+Hauser for Level and Pressure.<\/p>\n<h2>Meeting EU Pressure Equipment Directive requirements<\/h2>\n<p>BUMAX\u00ae 88 screws are delivered with a certificate that ensures that they fulfil the requirements according to the European Union\u2019s Pressure Equipment Directive <em>PED<\/em>\u00a02014\/68\/EU. Meeting the PED requirements is a prerequisite for all fasteners used in Endress+Hauser pressure devices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBUMAX screws with PED approval make it possible to offer high-pressure versions of the Deltabar devices with high-strength and corrosion-resistant screws,\u201d says Klaus Vogt, Sales Manager at BUMAX.<\/p>\n<p>BUMAX\u00ae 88 corresponds to the pressure equipment directive (DGRL). BUMAX\u00ae 88 screws and nuts in a diameter range from M6 to M36 and a minimum length of 3xd can be used in the pressure vessel area according to the pressure equipment directive <em>PED<\/em>\u00a02014\/68\/EU.
